PDF Tools

Free tools for the most common PDF jobs: making a file smaller, combining or separating documents, rearranging pages, signing, and converting to and from Word or images.

Every tool runs in your browser. Files are not uploaded, and there is no account, watermark, or daily usage cap.

Reduce file size

For email attachment limits and upload forms that reject large files.

Organize pages

Combine documents, pull out the pages you need, or fix page order and rotation.

Sign and mark

Add a signature to a form or contract, or stamp pages with a watermark.

Convert

Move content between PDF, Word, and image formats. Each tool lists what it keeps and what it can't.

Supported formats and limits

Limits exist because files are processed in your browser’s memory rather than on a server. Phones have less memory than computers, so very large files are more reliable on desktop.

Where your files go

Nowhere. Each tool reads your file into the browser tab, processes it on your device with JavaScript (plus WebAssembly for some PDF decoding), and gives the result back as a download. There is no upload step and no server-side copy. You can confirm this yourself in your browser’s developer tools (Network tab) while a tool runs — see how client-side processing works.
